Jan Davis began her reporting career as a freelance reporter for Armstrong and Okey in Columbus, Ohio for several years before moving to Guam and both freelancing and serving as a deputy official in the federal court there. After returning to the States in 1986, Jan freelanced across Wyoming with Wyoming Reporting Service, becoming a partner in 1992, when in 1996 she was hired by the Honorable Clarence A. Brimmer to serve the federal court in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
