Description:  This program introduces Realtime hardware and software—including litigation support software—and explains its set-up and preparation. It describes Realtime services, the benefits of Realtime records, and discusses how, as part of a computer-integrated courtroom, Realtime affects the work of law clerks and courtroom deputies.

 Basic Primer on Ethics for Court Reporters

Description:  Court reporters, particularly newly employed reporters, need to know how to manage their encounters with judges, attorneys, and litigants as they work in and around a courtroom and courthouse — especially when those interactions can directly impact their income. This broadcast is intended to serve as a training program for staff court reporters and substitute and contract reporters. Judges and attorneys may also benefit from this training because of the need for ethical relationships with the court reporters and other participants in court proceedings.
